Obama Campaign Wastes No Time in Releasing Ad Targeting Mitt Romney's '47 Percent' Remarks
It's been less than 24 hours since Mitt Romney's controversial "47 percent tape" first entered the news cycle and the Obama campaign has already managed to produce a political ad based around the the GOP nominee's "inelegent" comments.
In a video entitled "47 percent," members of Obama's "Truth Team" descended on "average Americans" to ask them what they think about Romney's assertion that the 47 percent of the population who pay no income tax "are dependent upon government" and "believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it."
Spoiler alert: The interviewees and Mitt Romney do not see eye to eye on this.
Mother Jones, which was first to make the footage public, will be releasing the full fundraiser video at 2:30 PM EDT. An hour and a half later, Mitt Romney is expected to appear on Fox News for his first post-47-percent interview.
