Shaun White is doing his part to perpetuate the stereotype of the drunk and disorderly snowboarder-skater: the Olympic gold medalist has been charged with public intoxication and vandalism.

This all went down at a Nashville hotel, where White got drunk and made an ass of himself. He deliberately broke a hotel phone — hence the vandalism charge — and tried to start a fight with another guest. When police officers gave him the chance to sign misdemeanor citations, he refused.

Oh, and that black eye in his mugshot? It's not from actually fighting with the other guest. It's from when White "attempted to attack the man and fell and hit his head." Yeah, that's a self-inflicted injury, making it that much more embarrassing. That black eye is a scarlet letter for drunken stupidity.
