Red Bull Heir Arrested in Hit-and-Run With Police Officer
Red Bull may give you wings, but it does not give you immunity.
Bangkok police have arrested 27-year-old Vorayuth Yoovidhya, grandson of Red Bull creator Chaleo Yoovidhya, who died in March.
Vorayuth Yoovidhya allegedly hit a police officer with his Ferrari, then fled the scene — all while dragging the officer's body down the street.
Although Yoovidhya admits that he was driving the car, he claims the victim, Sgt. Maj. Wichean Glanprasert, cut him off. Which might explain the initial accident but doesn't excuse Yoovidhya fleeing the scene and inadvertently dragging the dead body with him.
Yoovidhya was released on bail. He is awaiting trial and probably very on edge from a lifetime of guzzling Red Bull.
