Hiker with Broken Ankle Documents Her Fear of Dying Alone While Waiting to Be Rescued
While hiking in Wyoming recently, Coloradan Lexi De Forest attempted to jump a trench and failed — miserably. She twisted her ankle — literally — and couldn't move.
Alone, at night, on top of a mountain, she took out her cellphone and began documenting her harrowing ordeal, 127 Hours-style.
"I am fucking scared," De Forest says at one point. "I am really scared. But, in, like, the calmest, coolest sense."
