Internet Gives President Obama a New Do After He Compliments NASA's 'Mohawk Guy' on His Iconic Coiffure
While speaking with NASA's Mars rover team this morning, President Obama set aside some time to congratulate flight director Bobak "Mohawk Guy" Ferdowsi in particular on his newfound Internet fame — and compliment him on his fine-looking do.
"I, in the past, thought about getting a mohawk myself," the president told the Jet Propulsion Lab crew. "My team keeps on discouraging me and now that he's received marriage proposals and thousands of new Twitter followers, I think that I'm going to go back to my team and see if it makes sense."
Wasting no time at all, the Internet — namely, Twitter user @Darth — responded to Obama's mohawk-envy by giving the Commander-in-Chief a much-needed coiffure makeover.
