We were wondering if that sign from the Plano, Texas Chick-fil-A declaring that Jim Henson Creature Shop toys had been recalled due to safety concerns was legit, so we got in touch with Chick-fil-A P.R.

"I can confirm that Chick-fil-A voluntarily withdrew the Jim Henson kids meal toys in restaurants nationwide out of a potential safety concern," spokeswoman Tiffany Greenway told us. Asked to elaborate about the cause, she declined; the sign that's been making the rounds claims that the safety concern has to do with "children getting their fingers stuck in the holes of the puppets."

The recall has apparently been in place since July 19, a day before the Jim Henson Company announced it would end its partnership with Chick-fil-A over the company's support of anti-gay marriage initiatives. Asked to comment about the recall by the Huffington Post, a Jim Henson representative referred all questions to Chick-fil-A.
