Fred Willard Releases First Public Statement Since Lewd Conduct Arrest: 'Lousy Film'
Actor Fred Willard, who was allegedly caught with his penis out at an adult movie theater in Hollywood last week, spoke publicly about the incident for the first time today.
"Wait til u hear my version; much more PG," the 72-year-old thespian told his 62,000 Twitter followers.
In signature Willard style, the improv icon promised a review of the porn flick that got him in trouble. "Lousy film," Willard said, "but theater would make a terrific racquetball court. Full story 2 follow."
In reference to his subsequent termination from the PBS show Market Warriors, Willard went on to issue a second tweet telling his fans to watch his improvisational comedy show Trust Us with Your Life on ABC.
"I was not fired from TUWYL so B sure 2 watch," tweeted the show's host.
