Just a few hours before it was due to make the rumored news official, Coachella's Twitter account let the cruise out of the bag: The S.S. Coachella will indeed set sail.

The music festival's takeover of the Celebrity Silhouette cruise ship for a two-weekend trip to the Bahamas and Jamaica will take place December 16-19 and December 19-23, respectively. Both voyages will ship out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The price tag is a whopping $750 per cabin (sleeps two), but the lineup is priceless.

Among the bands confirmed so far are Pulp, Pulp, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Girl Talk, (DJ) James Murphy, Sleigh Bells, Warpaint, El-P, Black Lips, and others. More are expected to be announced soon via the newly christened @sscoachella Twitter account.
