While Sage Stallone's death has been reported as a drug overdose, we won't know for sure until the autopsy results come back. Meanwhile, Stallone's lawyer and friend George Braunstein says that his client was not suicidal, and that he does not have a history of drug abuse.

According to Braunstein, Stallone, son of actor Sylvester Stallone, had a positive outlook and was making plans for his future.

We were just joking about how he was going to get married and have a fun marriage. There was nothing dark or depressing, no problems, certainly no financial problems.

Braunstein went on to say that Stallone was planning to get married in Las Vegas, possibly even this weekend.

But that doesn't mesh with TMZ's report that no one had talked to Stallone for a week, and that he was "living like a hermit." At the very least, he had been dead for three days when his body was discovered.

Braunstein also contends that there were no empty pill bottles found at the scene. He says that, "The only bottles [Stallone's mother Sasha Czack] found were a bunch of empty Doc Brown's Cream Soda."

One thing everyone seems to agree on is that this was an accident: TMZ's law enforcement sources confirmed as much, and there were no signs of forced entry. Braunstein speculates that it was "either natural causes or a terrible accident," noting that he never knew Stallone to do drugs or even drink.
