Four-Year-Old Boy Crushed By Falling Tombstone
This story is equal parts sad and perplexing. A four-year-old boy was killed when a six-foot-tall tombstone fell on him in Utah's Glenwood Cemetery.
What's not clear is why the tombstone, which weighed hundreds of pounds, suddenly fell when the boy peeked out from behind it.
Carson Dean Cheney was trying to make other children smile while his father, an amateur photographer, was taking pictures of them. He was playing behind the tombstone pretending to be a leprechaun when it fell.
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
