Alex Chadwick of the Chicago Music Exchange straps on a 1958 Fender Strat and strums his way through 60 years of rock n' roll riffs, starting with the 1954 pop standard "Mr. Sandman," and concluding 99 riffs later with St. Vincent's 2011 single "Cruel."
Sure, several rock legends are noticeably absent from Chadwick's guided tour, but there are only so many riffs you can play in one sitting.
And, besides, the inclusion of Dio's "Holy Diver" makes up for at least four of those omissions.
