Depending on what you're into, porn should be relatively painless. For one unnamed 24-year-old, however, watching X-rated material is associated with serious discomfort. His porn seshes are accompanied by "severe, exploding" headaches that reach their climax about 10 minutes in.

Researchers are still trying to find out what is causing the headaches, which are specifically tied to porn and not to sex or masturbation.

Dawn Buse, associate professor of neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and director of behavioral medicine at the Montefiore Headache Center, explains what makes this case unique.

This guy is interesting because he's just watching porn and not actually having sex. But he probably still gets aroused and excited, which may be even worse than having sex because there's no release.

Er, couldn't the man's porn watching culminate in release, too? The article about his problem doesn't indicate what happens to his headaches when he takes matters into his own hands.

For now, the man is pregaming for his porn viewing with over-the-counter pain medication. (No word on whether his erection has developed a Pavlovian response to Advil.) He has reported "significant pain relief," which means that in lieu of flowers, you can send him links to your favorite XTube videos.
