There isn't a whole lot to look at here: A James Franco fanpage managed to get a hold of a teaser image for Sam Raimi's Wizard of Oz prequel, Oz: The Great and Powerful, featuring Franco in a top hat as Oscar Diggs — AKA the man who would be Wizard.

The film, which was adapted from L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, follows Diggs, "a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics," as he's transported from Kansas to the merry old Land of Oz. There he comes upon three witches — Theodora (Mila Kunis) Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams) — who doubt he's up to the task of ruling over Oz.

Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity-and even a bit of wizardry-Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

Oz is set to be released March 8, 2013. Hopefully we'll get something a little better than a grainy Italian promo before then.
