Toddler Thrown from Vehicle During Police Chase of Teen Armed Robbery Suspects
A police chase in Lubbock, Texas, took a terrifying turn when the vehicle being pursued tipped over, sending an 18-month-old girl flying through the backseat window.
The entire harrowing ordeal was caught by the dash cam of an LPD cruiser.
Luckily, the child sustained only minor injuries. She is currently in the care of relatives.
The SUV's occupants — the toddler's 17-year-old father and 16-year-old mother, and two other teens — were arrested and charged in connection with the aggravated robbery of a 19-year-old woman in a nearby parking lot.
Two of the suspects took off following the crash, but were apprehended by police a short time later.
