CNN's Piers Morgan last night landed the first post-trial interview with "tot mom" Casey Anthony, but the latter would only agree to speak on the phone off-camera.

Morgan spoke with Anthony and her attorney Cheney Mason for 10 minutes before the show, and then relayed their responses on-camera.

Despite being formally acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee, Anthony still stands accused in the court of public opinion. The now-26-year-old maintains her innocence, telling Morgan, "Obviously I didn't kill my daughter," adding that "there's no one I loved more than my daughter" and calling her "my greatest accomplishment."

Residing in an undisclosed location in Florida while she serves out the year-long probation she was sentenced to for check fraud, Anthony has been keeping busy watching Three Stooges reruns, working out, and reading the Hunger Games trilogy — a series of young adult novels ABC News helpfully reminds readers are "about a game of killing children."

Though she says she is "ashamed in many ways of the person that I was," claiming "even then, that wasn't who I am," Anthony denied having been a "party girl," and says she's "had a handful of beers since I've been on probation."

During her trial, a former roommate testified that Anthony had participated in a "hot body contest" a mere four days after Caylee's alleged disappearance date.

Asked about selling her story, Anthony insisted she doesn't care about money. "I may have in the past," she said. "I was stupid kid. I am 26 now. I have gone through hell." Her lawyer quickly stepped in to clarify his client's statement, assuring Morgan that "when the time comes she will have her story to tell."
