A new report says that nearly one quarter of American families have "no savings at all," and that the vast majority of workers have far too little money saved to sustain themselves over an extended retirement. That's probably why a new survey found that American consumers are resoundingly pessimistic.

A third survey out today found Americans are resoundingly optimistic. In fact, "a 58% majority predict they will be good a year from now." All three of these surveys got their own individual stories today in USA Today—a newspaper popular among Americans.

"Jayden," "Aiden," and "Brayden" are all among the most popular male baby names in America.

We are morons.
