Despite agreeing to discuss a specific set of topics beforehand, Washington Examiner columnist Tim Carney attempted to derail a conversation about Mitt Romney's response to his "youthful indiscretion" by calling NewsNation host Tamron Hall's question a "typical media trick."

Hall has none of it, and, after calling Carney out on his double-dealing, promptly cuts off his mic and moves on.

Some feel Hall made MSNBC look bad by "pulling a Bill O'Reilly," while others think Hall was right to shut Carney down for his underhanded attempt at using the platform he was given in order to criticize her.
