The mother of a 13-year-old girl from Duchesne County, Utah, was charged last week with with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after she allegedly snapped naked photos of her daughter to send to the teen's 30-year-old boyfriend.

The unidentified woman reportedly knew who the photos were intended for when she took them. The teen told Duchesne County sheriff's detectives she approached her mom after she was unable to operate the phone, which was given to her by the Oregon man with the explicit instruction that it be used to send him salacious snapshots.

According to investigators, the 35-year-old woman confirmed the details when interviewed. A seperate investigation has been launched in Oregon.
