Guy Becomes First Person to Make One Million Wikipedia Edits
Congratulations to 30-year-old Justin Knapp, aka Wikipedia user "koavf", on becoming the first Wikipedia user to make 1,000,000 edits. The Indiana University grad has been editing since 2005, specializing in topics of politics, philosophy and religion. Under the "convictions" section of his user profile he writes "My entire world view is based on the assertion that God exists, and created humanity in His image."
College professors throughout the world may be familiar with Knapp's work, via their students' plagiarism of it. This may be a once-in-a-lifetime achievement, given that Wikipedia is steadily losing editors.
