Lollapalooza announced the Chicago-based music festival's 2012 line-up last night, and the overarching theme this year appears to be "tried and true."

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to headline for the third time, along with The Black Keys and Jack White, both of whom have appeared before. The recently reunited Black Sabbath will also receive top billing, as will At the Drive-In, which just played its first set in over a decade.

The Afghan Whigs will also be making their triumphant return to the festival circuit after reuniting late last year.

Lollapalooza 2012 takes place between August 3rd and 5th in Grant Park. You can check out the full lineup on the festival's website.
