A Song for Eunuch: Psychemagik's 'Dance Hall Days'
From now on, I'm going to post my favorite song of the day, everyday. It may be old, it may be new, it may be my favorite of what has flooded the music blogs in the past few hours. You never know. Anything goes with Anna Nicole.
This "Leg Warmer Edit" of Wang Chung's 1984 hit turns up the swing beat and trades sweaters for legwarmers, reimagining the lite-new wave with a cosmic coolness. Psychemagik's take has been around for a while, but it just got officially released with a blessing from Wang Chung's singer Jack Hues, who turned over the song's original stems for a more professional sounding remix. If it's good enough for Hues, it's good enough for you.
