19-year-old Mantiowoc, Wisconsin resident Alexander Hart was just convicted of disorderly conduct for engaging in a week-long planking spree. Finally, the authorities are doing something about all this goddamn planking.

Hart was fined $303, after planking all over town, including on a police memorial monument in front of the county jail, in a masterful stroke of foreshadowing. According to reports, Hart is the first person ever convicted for a planking-related offense. Hopefully he won't be the last. If you do the plank, you get locked up in the clank.
