The Tucker Carlson-helmed Daily Caller publication has an EXCLUSIVE story today that disrupts the very fabric of our political system and could even alter the trajectory of the cosmos for millions of years to come, killing us all retroactively, too, and so on! THE HEADLINE, PLEASE: "Exclusive: Obama in 2006: I ‘stole' book title ‘Audacity of Hope' from Rev. Wright, ‘my pastor.'" Has your face begun to melt yet, or are your eyes merely exploding?

THE STORY, PLEASE:

Video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller shows Illinois Senator Barack Obama, then campaigning for Democrats before the 2006 midterm elections, praising Reverend Jeremiah Wright and telling an audience that he "stole" the title of his book "The Audacity of Hope" from Wright's sermon of the same name, which he "loved." Obama also referred to Wright as "my pastor."

Crikey shitbeans! He took his title from Jeremiah Wright? That does sort of sound familiar, actually, now that we think about it. It sounds like something you might read on, say, page 356 of Barack Obama's book, The Audacity of Hope:

It wasn't just the struggles of these men and women that had moved me. Rather, it was their determination, their self-reliance, a relentless optimism in the face of hardship. It brought to mind a phrase that my pastor, Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., had once used in a sermon.

The audacity of hope.

Fab scoop, really. What other exclusives are headed are way from Tuckertron & Co.? They should try to see if maybe — and this could be a stretch — maybe Obama took the phrase "audacity of hope" from Jeremiah Wright. It's worth checking out, right?
