Man Found Dead in Tent Two Days Later at Occupy New Orleans
As scrutiny of intra-protester violence and sexual assault at various Occupy Wall Street protests around the country increases, a man was found dead at Occupy New Orleans' protest site. He was apparently dead for two days.
The police say there "are no obvious signs of trauma," in the case and are awaiting an autopsy, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Meanwhile, in New York, we learn how Occupy Wall Street's security team fights crime in Zuccotti Park, courtesy of the New York Times: By surrounding criminals and chanting "Om." Crime is certainly becoming an image problem for OWS, regardless of how dangerous it is on the ground. Maybe they could start a little prison tent.
