Comment of the Day: Dude, Where's My Podium?
Today we heard the news that some of Barack Obama's speech-making equipment was stolen. Uh oh. Who originally reported the crime? Well, one commenter got a transcript of the 911 call.
Aide: "Hi Police, I'd like to report two crimes."
Cop: Yes? What's the first?
Aide: First, they stole the president's A/V equipment, including a teleprompter and a lectern.
Cop: And the second?
Aide: They're still calling a lectern a "podium!"
