Christopher Chaney, the 35-year-old Florida man accused of hacking into the e-mail and phones of 50 celebrities, says he was "addicted" to spying on celebrities. Poor guy.

"It started as curiosity and it turned into just being addicted to seeing behind the scenes of what's going on with these people you see on the big screen every day," Chaney told Action News Jacksonville. He also "deeply apologizes."

Chaney was arrested yesterday, and charged with 26 counts of computer hacking, ID theft and wire-tapping—he allegedly broke into the accounts of Mila Kunis, Vanessa Hudgens and more. He was also the one who released those Scarlett Johansson nude photos. Of course, we never saw them since we were so sickened by the invasion of her privacy. If convicted, he faces 121 years in jail.

Christopher Chaney looks exactly like the kind of person whose hobby would be snooping around female celebrities' inboxes, doesn't he? Wonder how you can treat "celebrity hacking addiction." Maybe slowly wean him off it by having him back progressively less famous people?
