Today, President Obama was asked today what he thought of Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley (oh, and thousands of others) marching against corporate greed and economic inequality at the Occupy Wall Street protests. He thinks they are "expressing their frustrations."

The media blackout of Occupy Wall Street continues, with reporters only asking Obama questions about Occupy Wall Street just once or twice during his press conference today, instead of constantly shouting them at him.

Obama's response:

"I think it expresses the frustrations the American people feel, that we had the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression, huge collateral damage all throughout the country ... and yet you're still seeing some of the same folks who acted irresponsibly trying to fight efforts to crack down on the abusive practices that got us into this in the first place,"

Basically, that's correct! Maybe Obama could take a minute out of his busy schedule to explain this Occupy Wall Street business to Joe Biden, who has absolutely no clue what's going on.
