Ousted TechCrunch Editor Has Personal Security Guards
Mike Arrington crossed Arianna Huffington. He lost. Now the soon-to-be former TechCrunch editor is hanging around his Disrupt conference flanked by twin security jobs. That's just interesting, is all we're saying.
We tried and failed to reach Arrington about the intense looking guards seated on either side of him at the tech event, as photographed by Nick Bilton of the New York Times. The guards are bald and, according to Bilton, "have muscles in places I don't even have places." The big question, of course, is whether they're there to protect Arrington from the AOL owned event, or to protect the AOL owned event from Arrington, and his defiant mouth.
