Today we learned that at least one Texas school superintendent doesn't much like Al Jazeera. But, wait, no, he's totally open minded! I mean, his school has a "Fiesta Day." But just what is this Fiesta Day? One commenter speculated.

From Dragon Seed:

I have a feeling their fiesta night at that school is really the Spanish National Honor Society's fall formal and that they were forced to have it in one of the trailer classes outside of the main building. One of the little gay kids brought the Frida soundtrack because it sounded well enough like non-white music, and they were forced to eat their homemade tacos and doritos on pink paper plates leftover from the Valentine's Day party.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Texas public school experience.
