R&B Singer Tases Pastor During Church Knife Fight
There are epic Taser incidents and then there's this: An R&B singer and former candidate for one of Alabama's U.S. Senate seats, Simone De Moore, up until last Sunday was the music director at New Welcome Baptist Church in St. Elmo, Alabama. He was fired by Reverend Riley and, according to Moore's mother, Agolia, "They owed him. He asked them for his money."
An argument broke out and, like any God-fearing man inside a house of worship, Simone De Moore pulled out a Taser and fried the pastor. That's when things spiraled out of control: "I said, 'oh my god he done cut me!" Agolia told Local 15 News. A deacon in the room had pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed her. She later got 19 stitches in the hospital. Investigators told the news channel that the deacon started slashing first, and that Moore responded with a Taser. Either way... Jesus Christ!
Warrants are out for Moore and the knife-wielding Deacon Harvey Hunt.
