"We represent...the family of the late Mickey Carroll, star of The Wizard of Oz, whose estate you've bilked for $500,000." Hm. Not quite as catchy as "The Lollipop Guild." But that's exactly what new court documents claim in a legal battle currently underway in Carroll's hometown of St. Louis.

According to the lawsuit, Carroll — who played a Fiddler, Townsperson, and Soldier in Munchkinland — had a longtime caretaker named Linda Dodge who "obtained possession" of assets valued at roughly a half-million dollars following his 2009 death. The property now can't be found, and his family wants it back. Positively, absolutely, undeniably and reliably back. [KPLR, image via AP]
