No one is safe from phone hacking these days, not even the mouthpiece of one-eyed, bearded bogeyman Mullah Omar. The following message was sent out early today from the phone of a Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid:

Leadership council of IEA (Islamic emirate of Afghanistan) announces that Ameer-ul-Mumineen (Mullah Omar) has passed away. May mighty God bless him.

According to AFP, Mujahid shot back, saying "We strongly reject this claim. We are not aware of such news. Americans have hacked our cellphones with advanced technology and sent the message to the media." A Taliban website was also hacked in this slanderous attack on Mullah Omar.
