The Last Harry Potter Movie Has Already Made All the Money
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 hasn't even come out yet and it's already made $32 million in the US. Most of the advanced sales are for midnight screenings, which are now certain to be nightmare mob-scenes. That advance is the highest in movie history.
Sure prices are higher these days because of expensive 3D and IMAX tickets (approx. $1 million each), but that's still pretty big news for Warner Bros. This movie is gonna be big, y'all. Let's see if it can beat The Dark Knight's highest-ever opening weekend, which was a whopping 158 million clams. I mean galleons. Galleons. Put your galleons in Gringotts, Warner Bros. [THR]
