Nine months after joining CNN—and six months after Kathleen Parker was dismissed as co-host—governor-cum-broadcaster Eliot Spitzer bid goodbye to viewers tonight after CNN announced earlier that it was canceling In The Arena.

On his final broadcast tonight, Spitzer made no mention of the news except to briefly acknowledge it during the show's last minute. Then he signed off for good with a quote from Teddy Roosevelt, for whom In The Arena was named. The video is above.
