Meet the Woman Who Sprayed Cops With Her Breast Milk
Police in Delaware, Ohio, were called to the Bridgewater Banquet & Conference Center early Saturday morning to handle a domestic violence call. What they found was Stephanie Robinette, 30, a charter-school teacher, who, while attending a wedding at the center, had "gotten drunk and struck [her husband] several times before locking herself in a car." Here is how Delaware County Sheriff Walter L. Davis III describes what happened:
"When deputies attempted to remove Robinette from the vehicle, she advised the deputies that she was a breast feeding mother and proceeded to remove her right breast from her dress and began spraying deputies and the vehicle with her breast milk," Davis said.
Robinette has pleaded not guilty, but pledged to seek treatment for alcoholism. Assault charges are obviously serious, and yet, we remain fascinated with her face in the mugshot: The slightly raised eyebrow, the set jaw, the air of scorn and defiance, all of which communicates, better than words ever could, Yes, I sprayed you with my breast milk, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
