This vintage clip of Larry David doing a stand up comedy bit on the old show Fridays has been kicking around for awhile, but when it came to my attention again today it just reminded me how bad he looked!

There's something about young Larry David that is just so incongruous. Back in the early '80s with a full half head of hair, his physical look doesn't mesh with the curmudgeonly shtick that he has since perfected on Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. But other than the hair and the youthful glow, the rest is classic Larry David: him kvetching and not being funny. There, I finally said it. I do not find Larry David funny. Not then, not now. Phew. That's a real load off!
