Pinch's New Pad: Times Boss Buys High-Cost Sky Loft
New York Times publisher Arthur "Pinch" "The Moose" Sulzberger, whose ex-wife got the Central Park West apartment when the couple split up in 2008, is a hobo no longer: he's bought a $3.9 million penthouse at The Dorilton, on West 71st St.
Click to viewIt's a forbidding stone structure befitting a mogul of Pinch's stature. (Click to watch the brokers' illustrative video!) From The Real Deal:
The three-bedroom co-op, at 171 West 71st Street, has a private 2,000-square-foot terrace, wood-burning fireplace and dramatic, 25-foot-high skylights in the living and dining room area. It was originally listed for $4.5 million last October.
No wonder the New York Times is so damnably liberal, what with Pinch Sulzberger living amongst the common people in such a populist fashion.
