Torture Porn Sequel Declared Too Gross for Britain
The director of schlocky torture porn film The Human Centipede, Tom Six, got a nice promotional boost for his follow up, The Human Centipede II, after the British Board of Film Classification refused to rate the film this week, effectively banning it in Britain. What happens in the sequel that offended the BBFC so much? It gets pretty meta, as the Guardian describes it — and it's gross:
In the sequel, a man becomes erotically obsessed with a DVD copy of the original film — in which the victims are surgically stitched together mouth to anus — and decides to recreate the idea.
The film then focuses on his fantasies and the torture he inflicts. One scene involves him wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping the woman at the end of the centipede, having become aroused by the sight of his victims being forced to defecate into each others' mouths.
Well, at least we know that shit fetishists will be satisfied. The BBFC said the film "poses a real, as opposed to a fanciful, risk that harm is likely to be caused to potential viewers."
