You might know that Tom Hanks has a gangsta-rapping son at Northwestern University who goes by the name Chet Haze. How did someone so white bread as Tom Hanks produce a kid like Chet Haze? He offered a possible explanation on the Ellen DeGeneres Show today.

Apparently the Hanks family motto is "give up da funk; tear da roof off the house," and Tom says he instructs his children every night before bedtime to do just that. Looks like Chet is finally doing exactly what his father told him to do. Those Hankses get fun-kay!
