Finally some good news. James Tate, the young swain who was banned from his Connecticut high school's prom because of the elaborate way he asked his date, will now be allowed to attend.

The school's headmaster changed the school's policy after the harsh ruling invited a whirlwind of media attention that culminated with Tate making appearances on the Today Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. So, yay for Tate. But boo for the school? I mean, it's a pretty slippery slope.
