Professional Cock Blockers Swarm Chatroulette
Chatroulette thinks it finally knows how to banish flashers. The video chat site has tried community moderation. It's tried dick detection software. Now it hopes 32 professional cockblockers can get a handle on this hard, longstanding problem.
Chatroulette's teenage founder Andrey Ternovskiy has hired 32 "full time reviewing agents," presumably in his home base of Russia, to intercept offensive video chatters before they can penetrate other users' sessions, TechCrunch reports. The wankers, and the lingering disrepute they attached to Chatroulette starting in its earliest days, are a reason the site continues to see its traffic stats stagnate.
In another attempt to bring Chatroulette back from the web fad graveyard, the site is offering a $1,000 cash prize as part of a new logo contest. Hmm, what one readily identifiable object is most associated with Chatroulette and simultaneously could symbolize its long-term potency? Think long and hard about it.
