Jerry Seinfeld talked to the NY Times about launching his own site, JerrySeinfeld.com which will be a repository for clips of all of his stand-up comedy routines. If they're anything like this TV appearance from 1977, it's going to be hard to find an audience.

Here's Seinfeld appearing on a syndicated variety Celebrity Cabaret and telling a lousy joke about the Roosevelt Island tram. And those eyeglasses! What is up with that? Thank God he's had more than 30 years to hone his act. Hopefully that means some of the new clips on his site (which launches Friday) will be worth watching.
