Over in England, the shady tabloid phone-hacking scandal that has been going on for literally years is all anyone is talking about! Whereas here in America, we didn't even pay attention to Abu Ghraib for a whole week.

The latest, in any case: James Weatherup, a reporter and former news editor at Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid News of the World, has been arrested for his role in hacking the voicemails of celebrities. He's the third NOTW journalist to be arrested in connection with the scandal.

The Guardian has a profile of Weatherup. The other 673 London papers absolutely love this shit, as long as it doesn't involve investigate how they got all their celebrity scoops back then.
