Who Killed Rosie Larsen?
[There was a video here]
Like a certain mid-'90s catchphrase, the above will soon be the question on everyone's lips. Why? Because the new AMC original series The Killing is premiering this Sunday. The crime thriller revolves around the mysterious murder of a Seattle teenager, Rosie Larsen. Over the course of the show, the sketchy details of the case unfold in the rain-soaked woods, behind the closed doors of local politics, and smack in the middle of high-school drama-turned-outright-scandal. And at the center of it all stands a family flattened by tragedy—and determined to find out who killed their girl.
The Killing stars Mireille Enos as the lead homicide detective investigating Rosie's death; Billy Campbell as Seattle's City Council President running for Mayor; Joel Kinnaman as an ex-narc cop who joins the homicide division in the investigation to find the killer; Michelle Forbes as Rosie's mother, Mitch; and Brent Sexton as her father, Stan. As this cast of characters searches for the truth about what happened to Rosie, all of their secrets come spilling out. And out. And out.
The whodunit for the 21st century is here. Can you figure out who chased Rosie through the tall grass into the dense woods, then into the black dirt, straight into her last moments on Earth?
Get in on the mystery this Sunday, April 3 at 9/8c for the two-hour series premiere event of The Killing—only on AMC, the network that brings you Mad Men and The Walking Dead.
