Valerie Plame Wilson to Dethrone Tom Clancy
Former CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson — whose identity was illegally publicized by right wing columnist Robert Novak via Scooter Libby and (most likely) Dick Cheney, among others — is starting a series of female spy novels. She spoke to the Times about what it's really like to be a woman in the world of espionage. Hint: Hollywood is full of shit!
"Of course the job has a lot of glamour. But it really is about being smarter than your average bear. Your mind is your best weapon. It's great when you're a good shot with an AK-47, but it's about being clever."
Smarter than your average... oh, yikes. Can't wait!
