Singer Nate Dogg Dead at 41
Nate Dogg, the deep-voiced Long Beach singer and founding member, with Snoop Dogg and Warren G, of 213, has died, the Long Beach Press-Telegram is reporting. He was 41.
It's not clear how Nate—real name Nathaniel hale—died, but he'd been sick and suffered from two strokes in 2007 and 2008; earlier this week, Warren G Tweeted that Nate was in therapy. It's impossible to choose a favorite Nate appearance—"Regulate," "The Next Episode," and "Lay Low" are probably the three most classic—but "I Got Love" is our favorite of his solo singles.
