Texas is only the most stereotypical of the nine states currently debating whether to allow students to carry guns on college campuses. Students! With guns! At college! In Texas! This is what they are worried about, when it comes to education issues, in Texas. Why?

Daniel Crocker, a [Texas A&M] student and board member of a group called Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, said, "We can't understand why we lose that option for personal protection, just because we want an education."

Texas law allows concealed firearms in most public places, but not in college buildings.

1. You can already carry guns everywhere.
2. So why not in college? Hey, criminals already do it. Do you want less rights than a criminal?

It's hard to argue with that logic, provided you're arguing with a Republican.
