Last night was an inspiring night in basketball, even if you don't care about basketball. Caltech, a Division III school, ended their 26-year, 310-game losing streak in a defeat over Occidental College. The game ended at 46-45. Go Beavers!

This insanely long losing streak was so extreme, it inspired the award-winning 2007 documentary, Quantum Hoops. In it, Rick Greenwald follows the Beavers as they attempt to win a single game during the last week of the 2006 basketball season. It took Caltech another five years to do so, making the victory that much sweeter.
