This season on American Idol, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have joined the judging panel and Steven's wacky moments have brought some comedic relief into the auditioning process. If you want call his antics "comedic relief."

My favorite Steven Tyler moment so far:
He's on stage, speaking to the auditorium of contestants at Hollywood week, and says, "I'm addicted to adrenaline...and a whole lot of other things, including wanting to hear you sing real good today."
oh man, the poor contestants, once he opens his mouth you truly have no idea if he's serious or not.
I'm on board with it. Having an actual singer on the other side of that table adds a real element of interest, and besides, he's both Paula-wacky and genuinely funny.
