Here's a trailer for the remake of the Dudley Moore comedy Arthur, starring the wonderful Helen Mirren and the irksome comedian Russell Brand. Mirren plays the weary caretaker of the childish, dopey heir, played by Brand, who gets cut off from the family pot and has to strike out on his own.

So yeah, it's yet another opportunity for Brand to stretch his huge range to play a loutish idiot. And it's another opportunity for Helen Mirren to put another addition on her house in the Cotswolds. Jennifer Garner shows up as Arthur's arranged fiance, and apparently Greta Gerwig is in this thing too, as Arthur's one true love I'm guessing, but she's barely in the trailer. All told, it looks pretty bad!
